Valued skills

From the Bolton Evening News, first published Friday 15th Aug 1997.

SIR: I read with amazement B Almond's letter in Saturday's BEN in which he questioned the validity of your Cypriot fisherman story.

It seems from reading his letter that he does not value the investigative skills of your reporters, whilst I, who as an ex- resident of Bolton who now keeps in touch via your excellent internet site, most certainly do so.

It is nice to know that although Bolton is not the centre of universe it is certainly closer than many towns and cities in the United Kingdom with its excellent local paper.

If B Almond does not like your paper then he/she does not have to read it as he/she does not have his/her arm twisted to purchase the B.E.N.

Keep up the good work especially on the internet site.
