Bargain-hunter's cheerio to brewery

From the Lancashire Evening Telegraph, first published Wednesday 29th Jan 2003.

ANTIQUES enthusiast Paul Morris has bid farewell to Daniel Thwaites after a memorable 30 years at the Blackburn brewery.

The 57-year-old from Mount St James, Knuzden, has called time on his association with the brewers to continue his lifelong hunt for bargains. The former warehouse manager quipped: "Much of my new-found leisure time will be dedicated to becoming the David Dickinson of East Lancashire.

"I will miss working at Thwaites though -- I've had a wonderful time here and made many friends with whom I intend to keep in touch."

Paul received a special 'thank you' from production director Brian Hickman at a farewell gathering at the brewery's visitor centre.
