£150,000 business centre plan for school

A SCHOOL has successfully bid for specialist status in a move that will unlock thousands of pounds of new investment.

All Hallows High School in Salford has scooped £150,000 capital funding to create a business and enterprise centre.

From September, the school, in Weaste Lane, Salford, will receive support from retail giants Arcadia Group and from the Salford Foundation. The school will use the government-backed partnership to secure further sponsorship and build on other links with the business world to improve job prospects for pupils.
