Mayor to thank town's volunteers

VOLUNTEERS are invited to a civic reception with the Mayor of Bolton, Councillor Frank White, and the Houghton Weavers, as thanks for their hard work during the Year of the Volunteer.
The evening will take place at the Festival Hall, in Bolton Town Hall, between 7pm and 11pm on September 23.
Volunteers wishing to book a place should contact Volunteer Centre Bolton on 01204 380692 before September 14.
